Dust, oil, humidity or rust seriously affect the coating’s adhesion._x000D_Loose substrates of concrete and screeds are not suitable for painting as the coat will peel._x000D_New surfaces of concrete or cement mortar should be painted one month after construction._x000D_Surfaces already painted must be completely cleaned with chemical or mechanical means and sanded to a smooth finish._x000D_The wet surface must be allowed to dry for at least 3 – 5 days prior to the paint application._x000D__x000D_PRIMING_x000D_Prime surfaces with EPOXITE DUR primer._x000D__x000D_APPLICATION_x000D_Components Α (resin) and Β (hardener) are already packed in separate containers with a preset mixing ratio. Any modification of the mixing ratio will result in improper polymerization of the mixture._x000D_Mix the 2 components after careful mix of each component separately._x000D_Stirring is done carefully for 3-5 minutes taking care to ensure thorough mixing of the two components on the walls and the bottom of the pail._x000D_Imperfect mixing will result in uneven curing of the coating with parts that will not cure at all._x000D_After mixing of the two components allow 10 – 15 minutes and then apply the coating as is or diluted up to 5% with polyurethane solvent._x000D_Application is done with a brush, roller or spray gun in two or three coats._x000D_The paint obtains its final properties 7 - 10 days after the application of the finishing coat._x000D__x000D_REMARKS_x000D_PREMIUM POOL PAINT contains solvents and during application good ventilation of the space should be ensured._x000D_It is advisable the use of protective clothing, gloves and mask with filter suitable for solvents._x000D_The coated surface should be protected from humidity for 36 - 48 hours._x000D_Should recoating be carried out after 15 days, the surface must be sanded with a coarse sandpaper and dust must be removed._x000D_Curing as well as pot – life are affected by ambient temperature and humidity. Low temperatures and high humidity tend to increase pot – life while high temperatures and low humidity shorten the pot life._x000D_Before using PREMIUM POOL PAINT read carefully all instructions and information relevant to its safe and best use._x000D_Treatments such as sanding, welding, burning off, etc. of paint films may generate hazardous dust and/or fumes. Work in well ventilated areas. Use suitable personal (respiratory) protective equipment, as necessary_x000D__x000D_LEAD STATEMENT_x000D_WARNING: Treatment of old surfaces such as dry sanding, flame cutting and/or welding of the dry paint film will give rise to dust and/or hazardous fumes. Lead dust may be released. Lead is toxic. Exposure to lead dust can cause serious illness. Wet sanding/flatting should be used wherever possible. If exposure cannot be avoided by the provision of local exhaust ventilation, suitable respiratory protective equipment should be used.
